- Due to the nature of the website, it is a requirement that children under the age of five are welcome at each property advertised.
- Each property advertised must have the following child-friendly facilities: cot(s), highchair(s), washing machine/laundry facilities, microwave, central or storage heating, bath and/or baby bath, buggy access and parking close by.
- Childfriendlycottages.co.uk reserves the right to inspect a property to confirm suitability.
- Owners are asked to respond promptly to all enquiries from customers.
- The owner is wholly responsible for the accuracy of the property information.
- Childfriendlycottages.co.uk accepts no legal responsibility for the accuracy of information, or for any action brought against the owner for breach of contract by the person renting the property. Childfriendlycottages.co.uk shall not be liable to the owner for any loss, costs or damages resulting from the use of the site, or the inability to access or use the site.
- Owners placing advertisements have a duty to ensure that all material provided complies with copyright law. Childfriendlycottages.co.uk accepts material in good faith and cannot be held liable for any breach of copyright by owners. Owners retain the right of copyright over such materials, and grant childfriendlycottages.co.uk the right to use and modify such materials for the purpose of the advertisement.
- Childfriendlycottages.co.uk reserves the right to modify property information, to remove inappropriate material or to bring the information in line with the style of childfriendlycottages.co.uk.
- Childfriendlycottages.co.uk cannot be held liable for cancellations, non payment of rent, damage to the property or any other material loss. We recommend that owners have a legal contract between themselves and their tenants.
- Cottage owners (at their own expense) should adequately insure their property for rental with a reputable insurer and take out adequate third party insurance in respect of the use of the property by customers.
- Whilst childfriendlycottages.co.uk endeavours to ensure that this site is available continuously, it will not be liable if for any reason the site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
- The payment made by the owner is for an advertising period of 12 months from the date on which the advert goes live and shall terminate at the end of that 12 month period unless renewed.
- Childfriendlycottages.co.uk reserves the right to remove properties from the site (without refund) should:
- Advertisers not meet the required criteria
- Advertisers misrepresent their property
- Childfriendlycottages.co.uk receive complaints from customers who book an owner’s property
- Owners can delete their cottage advert from the site at any time, however no refund will be made if removed prior to the end of the advertising period.
- Use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any actions or proceedings arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
